Why Is He With Her?

Many people are guilty of looking at a relationship and if one of the people are not what we deem as attractive, rhetorically asking, “Ugh! Why is he even with her?” I am sure some men do this too but for the most part, you hear women say it, as if being “pretty” is the only reason someone could possibly BE with someone else. I have said it before but I know better than to REALLY believe this is the only reason a man could possibly love and marry a woman. Sometimes the most successful relationships are with people who aren’t beauty queens or stunning charmers. People who don’t spend ALL of their free time on “looking good” have time to work on other endearing, everlasting qualities like AND…their personalities.

When I have said it, I can honestly say I was joking because I know better. However, I am beginning to think that some women are dead ass serious when making this statement. It makes me a little concerned. I see all of these blogs, tweets, articles, etc. written about women having problems finding men. Could it be because your focus is on the wrong thing? If you are over 25 and looking to get into a serious relationship, whether you are male or female, your main concern should be how someone is going to treat you. I think it should be a big concern if you are under 25 but most people in that age bracket aren’t trying to settle down with one person so your relationship priorities tend to be different.

Seriously, if your biggest concern is “why is he with her? she’s fat/ugly/can’t dress/etc”, you might not need to be in a relationship at all. Could it be that he actually loves her? Isn’t that what’s most important? I hear and see so many people CLAIM they want a man/woman but what they are projecting doesn’t say that. It says “I want someone to show off to my family and friends”. As you mature, you find out that having a “trophy” for a relationship isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. That’s some high school shit.
If you’re an outsider looking in, there is a plethora of things you’ll never be privy to that makes those two people think the world of each other. I wish people would get that.

Facebook Buys Instagram!!!

The internet giant will hand over a combination of cash and shares for Instagram, which only has 10 staff

Big deal: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg

Big deal: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook has paid $1bn to buy Instagram – just 18 months after the photo-sharing service launched.

The internet giant will hand over a combination of cash and shares for Instagram in its biggest-ever deal.

San Francisco-based Instagram only employs around 10 employees, who will transfer to working for Facebook.

The Instagram app, which is available for iPhone and Android phones, is particularly popular for its digital filters, which give photos a retro look.

Its 30 million registered users can share and comment on photos, which has turned it into a rival social network to Facebook.

The new owners have vowed to keep Instagram as a separate service rather than integrate it wholesale into Facebook.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement: “We think the fact that Instagram is connected to other services beyond Facebook is an important part of the experience.

“We plan on keeping features like the ability to post to other social networks, the ability to not share your Instagrams on Facebook if you want, and the ability to have followers and follow people separately from your friends on Facebook.”

Meanwhile Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom said he was “psyched” to be joining Facebook and added: “It’s important to be clear that Instagram is not going away.

“We’ll be working with Facebook to evolve Instagram and build the network.”

Instagram won Apple’s App of the Year at the end of 2011.

Social Bashing

I’m so over hearing people getting so upset about what someone post on a website. Most of the problem is people won’t stay out of other folks business. Like this blog here…I discuss random issues. I write about general topics, true stories to short stories…but I’m not using names. Yet, if someone finds my site they may be offended or upset about what I have posted. Well I’m sorry but this is my thing, it’s my blog and if I wanted it to get back to you I would post names and invite you to my blog. Facebook most of the people who are upset about a post are people who was never a friend of your page. Why? Because they are Facebook stalkers or have their dumb ass friends stalking for them and someone is faking to be cool with you on your page to cause drama. So is it really social sites that is the problem? No it is not, it is the people who take a good thing and make it bad!

Who Does That?

In today’s world everything is done through social networks and text messages. But who in their right mind would fight, argue and break up with someone through social networks or even text messages?

It’s just wrong! No matter how long you been with the person, you should always talk to them face to face when breaking up! Doing it over the phone is just as bad.

But what’s everyone worse is bashing your ex! Especially for attention! Whether if it’s no Twitter or Facebook it’s wrong! Keep your relationship issues private! Trying to get peoples attention by making your self look like the victim is wrong! And if you are going to fight or argue with your ex, please keep it private! Don’t argue and go back and forth over Facebook and Twitter! Or texts for that matter! Talk on the phone or face to face!

People need to grow up and act like adults!
